Andrew Miklos, Ph.D., is chief of the Data Modeling and Analytics Branch in the Division of Data Integration, Modeling, and Analytics. In this role, he oversees the analysis and evaluation of NIGMS programs and processes, the use of novel metrics and methods to better understand the NIGMS grant portfolio, and the deployment of assistive tools to allow Institute staff easier access to information that they need to make informed decisions on a day-to-day basis.
Miklos earned an A.B. with dual concentrations in mathematics and chemistry from Brown University and a Ph.D. in chemistry and biochemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He conducted postdoctoral research at Florida State University’s Institute for Molecular Biophysics, where he was an NIGMS F32 fellow.
