Using the Challenge.gov mechanism, NIGMS is inviting participation in its ongoing efforts to make a clear association between the research it has funded and improvements in human health and well-being.
Current and former NIGMS grantees are among those who could identify such “stories of discovery,” which can often span several decades, involve multiple projects and be supported by diverse funding sources.
The Institute will select up to 10 winners, who will receive $500 prizes and recognition on the NIGMS Web site. Submissions are due by Monday, October 20, 2014.
For additional requirements, judging criteria, FAQs and other information, see http://www.nigms.nih.gov/about/NIGMSAdvanceTracingChallenge/pages/default.aspx.
