Peer Review of NIGMS Training and Career Awards

NIGMS training and career applications are reviewed in two ways. Applications for fellowships (F) and all career (K) awards except for the Pathway to Independence Award (K99/R00) are reviewed within the NIH Center for Scientific Review (CSR), with subsequent administration by NIGMS. Applications for training grants (T32), Pathway to Independence Awards (K99/R00), and other student development awards are reviewed by the Scientific Review Branch (SRB) within NIGMS.
