This position supports the NIGMS Chief Information Officer (CIO) in providing strategic leadership in all aspects of IT, devising strategic IT plans, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and ensuring that IT is utilized effectively. The position involves directing and managing the projects, tasks, and staff within the Information Resources and Management Branch (IRMB) in the Division of Management (DOM) of NIGMS.

NIGMS is recruiting for a Management Analyst in the Management Analysis and Policy Section (MAP) in the Executive Office of the Division of Management. This Management Analyst position supports exciting NIGMS programs such as: Employee Engagement, Training and Development, Workforce / Human Resources Support, Orientation Programs, Awards Programs and Events, and so much more!
The Executive Office in the Division of Management at NIGMS is home to the NIGMS Ethics, HR and Workforce, Administrative, Management Analysis, and Equity and Accessibility projects and programs for NIGMS. The Executive Office sits in the NIGMS Division of Management that is responsible for administrative support for the Institute including Information Technology, Communications, Budget, Administration, and Workforce Support and Development.
This position requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The ideal candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills as well as attention to detail. Strong customer experience/service abilities are a must, and exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across the Institute are critical.

Grants Management Specialist
Division of Extramural Activities (DEA)
NIGMS is recruiting a Grants Management Specialist for the Compliance Assistance and Research Administration Support (CARAS) Center within the Division of Extramural Activities (DEA). CARAS assists recipient institutions with little to no research administration infrastructure or experience, with understanding and complying with extramural award management requirements. CARAS has four main workstreams: 1:1 assistance with award recipients, recipient training, resource development (e.g. web content, videos, SOPs, quick guides, FAQs), and outreach (e.g. staff visits, conferences, webinars). In addition, the incumbent will maintain a small grants management portfolio.
Ideal candidates will have exceptional organizational and communication skills, strong NIH extramural research award policy experience, and the ability to work collaboratively across the Institute.
This position has no educational requirement.
