Biographical Sketch: Mike Reddy, Ph.D.

Mike Reddy, Ph.D., is a program director in the Division of Genetics and Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. He administers research grants on DNA Replication/Repair and protein synthesis. 

Before coming to NIGMS, Reddy was a discipline scientist in the Planetary Sciences Division at NASA Headquarters and a program director at the NSF. Previously, he was on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the Department of Biochemistry & Chemistry. He earned a Ph.D. in molecular microbiology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Molecular Biology at the University of Oregon.
