TWD programs foster the training and development of a strong biomedical research workforce. The division supports leadership in training the next generation of scientists in the scientific workforce through a variety of programs at the undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral, faculty, and institutional levels. This branch manages dual-degree clinician scientist research training programs, training opportunities at Tribal entities, and awards to support the capacity of institutions and individuals to conduct and commercialize rigorous biomedical research.
