Joyce Stamm, Ph.D., is a program director in the Division of Training and Workforce Development.
Prior to joining NIGMS, Stamm was a professor of biology at the University of Evansville.
Stamm received a B.S. in chemistry from the California Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, and biophysics from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and the University of California, Los Angeles, where she used biochemical and genetic approaches to study early development in Drosophila melanogaster.
