Kadir Aslan, Ph.D., is a program director in the Division of Pharmacology, Physiology, and Biological Chemistry. He administers research grants in the areas of biotechnology development and chemical biology, as well as all small business innovation research/small business technology transfer grants. 

Before joining NIGMS, Aslan served as a professor at Morgan State University. 

He earned a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and conducted postdoctoral research at University of Maryland, Baltimore.
