Veronica Taylor, Ph.D., is a program director in the Division of Biophysics, Biomedical Technology, and Computational Biosciences, where she manages a grant portfolio in the areas of membranes and membrane proteins.

Prior to joining, NIGMS, Taylor was a health science policy analyst at the NIH Office of Strategic Coordination (OSC), where she worked with several Common Fund initiatives including the Transformative High Resolution Cryo-Electron Microscopy Program. Prior to joining NIH, she was a American Association for the Advancement of Science’s (AAAS) Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the U.S. Department of Justice.

Taylor received a bachelor's degrees in chemistry and biochemistry from Gustavus Adolphus College, and earned a Ph.D. and completed postdoctoral work in biophysics at the University of Michigan.
