Navigating NIGMS Grants

Virtual Office Hours for Grant-seeking Faculty

Thinking about applying for one of NIGMS’s grant mechanisms, but not completely sure how? Want to ask your questions directly to NIGMS staff? Then you have come to the right place. Join NIGMS staff in a series of live, small group sessions dedicated to assisting early career faculty and late-stage postdoctoral researchers to plan their future applications. We welcome all audiences, but topics may be geared towards first-time applicants with general overviews. NIGMS staff will present on a topic briefly, but the majority of sessions will be geared towards your questions and open discussions.

We hope to provide office hours series on different NIGMS grant mechanisms. The first will be a 4-part series focusing on NIGMS’s flagship research project grant - Maximizing Investigators' Research Award (MIRA) (R35) for Early Stage Investigators (ESI-MIRA). Please go to NIGMS’s MIRA website for more information.

Dates and registration links can be found below for the topics. We will have experienced program staff from multiple NIGMS divisions, as well as review staff, to answer your questions. You can register for one or all! See you there!
