NIGMS Special Emphasis Panels (SEPs)
In addition to standing study sections, the Scientific Review Branch (SRB) also organizes the initial review of applications for a wide variety of programs using one-time special emphasis panels (SEPs). The breadth of science in applications, and the variability of expertise needed from round to round, necessitates the recruitment of a unique panel of experts for each review meeting.
A complete list of NIGMS funding opportunities is available online.
